Freshman A team falls to Crandall 47-27 Thursday

The Sulphur Springs freshman A team hosted Crandall Thursday for their second home game of the year. The first quarter was a defensive battle, in which they first score didn’t come until their was less than a minute in the frame. The Wildcats opened the second quarter by tying things up at 7-7. The two teams traded touchdowns again, before Crandall took a 21-13 lead just before the half. The fourth quarter was much more explosive, as both teams scored multiple times. Sulphur Springs kept the game close for as long as they could, but they ultimately fell by a final score of 47-27. Staff photo by Tyler Lennon
