Happy Thanksgiving!

It seems like yesterday we were all complaining about 2020 and now we’re quickly approaching 2022. It seems the older we get, the faster time flies. I’ve learned to appreciate every moment in my life and appreciate all that God has given me and these are just some of the things I’m thankful for:

• I’m thankful my two girls are healthy and successful in their lives.

• I’m thankful for my entire family being in good health.

• I’m thankful for having such a wonderful job in a fantastic community.

• I’m thankful for the amazing staff I have here at work.

• I’m thankful that this week, Sharon, one of my two sisters, is coming to visit me for the first time.

• And finally, I’m thankful for my good health, which is something we take for granted.

I’m sure I could fill this paper with other things I’m thankful for, but these are the most important to me right now.

I also want to wish our Asst. Managing Editor, Todd Kleiboer, the best of luck in his new adventure. Todd will be leaving us this week to move to Sherman, Texas to work for the school district there. I’m thankful for the time I’ve had Todd here and I hope nothing but the best for him.

And to the community, I wish all of you a happy, safe and blessed Thanksgiving holiday. Eat too much, love too much and appreciate everything God has given you.
