Larry Crist passed away Wednesday at the age of 72.
A private graveside service for Larry Crist, 72, of Yantis will be held and directed by Pastor Byron at Yantis Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Crist passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Larry Crist was born in Dec. 16, 1947 in Palestine, Texas to Bill and Almeda Frizzell Crist. He married Janis Rhodes June 10, 1970, and they were married for 50 years. He proudly served the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was station in Germany and worked as a military policeman. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to deer hunt. Larry was a western man and enjoyed watching western movies.
He is survived by his wife, Janis Crist, and son, Wayland Crist, both of Yantis, Texas.
Larry is preceded in death by parents.
