Chris Fahey

Chris Fahey went to be with Jesus Feb. 15 after a month-long illness.

She was born Sept. 30, 1947 to Army Sgt. Lionel and Claudia Carless.

She was a retired special ed teacher and held a degree in horticulture.

She was an active member of First Baptist Church Como and the Lone Star Quilt Guild.

She also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her goats and pets.

She is survived by her husband Mike; her daughter Candace Redden; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at FBC Como.
