After celebrating American independence, Sulphur Springs ISD will resume camps for volleyball, tennis and eighth and ninth grade football July 9.
Volleyball camp for grades four through seven will be held 8-10 a.m. and for eighth and ninth grades at 10 a.m.-noon will take place Monday and Tuesday, July 9 and 10.

For Sulphur Springs ISD students only, there will be eighth and ninth grades football camp.
Camp will take place 9:30 a.m.-noon, Tuesday-Thursday, July 30-Aug. 1. Cost is $20 per student. Contact Coach Greg Owens at gowens@ssisd.net or 903-885-2158 for more information.
Tennis will be coached by Tony Martinez Monday-Thursday, July 29-Aug. 1 at 8-10 a.m. for students entering kindergarten through sixth grades and 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for those going into seventh-12th grades.
