FM 71 in northern Hopkins county was lined with snow Monday morning, and slick spots on the road were here and there. Pets also had a chance to experience snow, and a few of the furrier ones had snowflakes littering their coats. Snowflakes first started to fall Sunday afternoon, and cedar trees provided a natural dark backdrop .
