Lena Day Garden Club met Jan. 28 at the home of Thuan Bennett.

Members were treated to a breakfast of coffee, tea and various fingers foods.

The business meeting was conducted by President Ruth Mary Hall. Roll call, minutes and treasurer’s report were read and approved.

Brittany May was given the program “Patch of Your Home.” She is an interior designer currently working at Everything Unique in Sulphur Springs. She showed members how to select fabric and add touches to the home to make it look more elegant but without being overwhelmingly busy. Everyone really enjoyed learning something new from Brittany.
