COMO — The Como City Council will discuss a plat and a demolition at two properties during its February meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Como City Hall.

Resident Johnny Flowers will present a plat for a building on his building at 2104 East Main St. In the January meeting, Flowers said he wanted sell fireworks at that building, and then rent it out for garage sales during the time between fireworks seasons.

Andy Evans is planning to build a new house on his property at 509 Lynch St., and he will ask the council to contact Sanitation Solutions about the demolition of the current house.

The council will also present for the second time its budget for the 2020 fiscal year.

Other actions items include the approval of previous meeting minutes, payment of February bills and approval of current funds report. The maintenance, fire and police reports will be also be presented. After citizen comments, the council will adjourn.
