The following reports are based on arrests conducted with reports filed by Sulphur Springs and Hopkins County law enforcement from 5:30 a.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Tuesday and included:

Alcohol-related arrests

• A 39-year-old Emory man was arrested Saturday on the charge of public intoxication.

Drug-related arrests

• A 35-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrest Friday on possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license invalid charges. No bond was set.

• A 36-year-old Yantis man was arrested Friday on the charges of possession of a Schedule 1 drug, more than 1 and less than 4 grams, tampering or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair an investigation and evading arrest or detention. Bonds were set at $10,000, $10,000 and $2,000, respectively.

• A 36-year-old Denison man was arrested Friday and charged with possession of a Schedule 1 drug, less than a gram. No bond was set.

• A 49-year-old Mount Vernon woman was arrested Saturday on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.

• A 35-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrested Saturday on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving wile license invalid. No bond was set. • A 27-year-old Sulphur Springs man

• A 27-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrested on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.

• A 31-year-old New Mexico man was arrested Sunday on the charge of possession of a Schedule 1 drug, greater than 1 gram but less than 4 grams. No bond was set.

• A 30-year old Willis Point man was arrested Sunday on the charge of possession of a Schedule 1 drug, greater than 1 gram but less than 4 grams. Bond was set at $10,000.

• A 40-year-old Sulphur Springs woman was arrested Sunday on the charges of unlicensed possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. No Bond was set.

• A 26-year-old Cleveland, Ohio man was arrested Sunday on the charges of unlicensed possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a Schedule 2 drug, less than a gram. Bonds were set at $50,000 and $15,000, respectively.

• A 24-year-old Commerce man was arrested Sunday on the charges of possession of a Schedule 1 drug, less than a gram, failure to identify as a fugitive with the intent to give false information and violation of parole. Bond was set at $10,000 on the possession charge and $2,000 on the failure to identify charge.

• a 27-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrested Sunday on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.

• An Austin man was arrested Monday on the charge of possession of a Schedule 3 drug, greater than 28 grams but less than 200 grams. No bond was set.

Miscellaneous arrests

• A 53-year-old Emory man was arrested Friday on the charge of tampering or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair an investigation. Bond was set at $10,000.

• A 39-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrested Friday on a parole violation and a charge of driving while license invalid. No bond was set.

• An 41-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrested Friday on the charge of assault family violence toward a house member by impeding breathing or circulation. No bond was set.

• An 18-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrested Friday on the charge assault causing bodily injury to a family member. No bond was set.

• A 39-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrested Friday on the charge of unlicensed possession of a firearm by a felon. Bond was set at $10,000.

• A 53-year-old Emory man was arrested Friday on the charge of tampering or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair an investigation. Bond was set at $10,000.

• A 31-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrested on three charges of sexual assault. Bond was set at $50,000 on each charge.

• A 41-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrested Sunday on the charge of assault of a family or household member by impeding breathing or circulation and driving while license invalid. Bond on the assault charge was set at $10,000.

• A 20-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrested Sunday on the charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and on two Tarrant County charges of violation of bond or protective order. Bond was set at $10,000 on the Tarrant County charges.

• A 27-year-old Three Rivers, Texas man was arrested Sunday on the charge of violation of parole. He was allegedly in possession of a Schedule 1 drug, more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams. No bond was set.

Animal complaints

• A brown calf out on FM 71 in Sulphur Springs at 5:28 p.m.;

• Aggressive dogs were not trained and the caller felt threatened when walking by on County Road 2301 in Sulphur Springs at 7 a.m. Saturday;

• Four white cows out just south of Old Paradise Road on FM 275 in Cumby at 7:45 a.m. Saturday;

• Cow out on the road on CR 1164 in Emory at 7:34 p.m. Saturday;

• About 10 or so cows out in the front yard near the road on State Highway 154 in Sulphur Springs at 6:55 a.m. Sunday;

• Cows out near the water treatment plant on Hillcrest Road in Sulphur Springs at 8:24 a.m. Sunday;

• Two black cows out on Main Street in Cumby at 8:06 p.m. Sunday;

• Cow on the road on FM 1567 west in Sulphur Springs at 9:55 p.m. Sunday;

• Two black cows out near a ball field on FM 499 in Cumby at 7:49 a.m. Monday;

• Horse out in the roadway on State Highway 19 in Sulphur Springs at 2:46 p.m. Monday; and

• About 20 cows out in the road at FM 567 and SH 154 in Sulphur Springs at 10:17 p.m. Monday.
