The Hopkins-Rains Soil and Water Conservation District #445 will host a barbecue lunch and hay show, starting at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center, 1200 Houston St. in Sulphur Springs. The purpose of the hay show is to establish a scholarship fund and support local FFA and 4-H programs. All entry forms must be submitted to the Northeast Texas Farmers Co-op by Monday, Oct. 5.
