TAMU-C announces series against GSU

COMMERCE – Texas A&M University-Commerce and Grambling State University announced a football home-and-home scheduling agreement in the 2024 and 2025 seasons, on Wednesday afternoon.

Grambling visits A&M-Commerce on Sept. 14, 2024, which serves as the Lions' home opener for the 2024 season at Ernest Hawkins Field. The Lions visit the Tigers for the return trip on Sept. 20, 2025, at Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium in Grambling, Louisiana.

The Lions face the Tigers for the first time in program history. It is also A&M-Commerce's first game against a team from the Southwest Athletic Conference (SWAC) since moving up to NCAA Division I FCS.

A&M-Commerce begins the 2024 season at San Diego State on Aug. 31. The rest of the non-conference opponents of the 12-game schedule as well as season ticket information will be released in the coming weeks.

Grambling is the second non-conference opponent announced for the 2025 season, as A&M-Commerce visits Florida State on Sept. 6, 2025.
