New faces in new places could describe the Sulphur Springs High School basketball scene.

After a successful run with the Wildcats which included a 150-82 record and a trip to state, Clark Cipoletta moved to Allen to take over that basketball program.

Brandon Shaver came over from Longview Pine Tree and is the new boys head coach.

Erica Delley, a Dallas Kimball standout and Texas College graduate is now running the Lady Cat program.

Delley replaces Brittney Tisdell who went back to her home town to coach North Lamar in Paris.

Delley comes to Sulphur Springs after serving as head coach at Greenville.

Both Delley and Shaver are establishing sound programs and building toward the future.

The Wildcats 15-5 overall and 1-0 in district will play at Longview on Jan. 4.

The Lady Cats fell at Marshall 56-19 and dropped to 0-2 in district. They play at home Jan. 4 against Pine Tree.
