Adds another accolade to ledger
SUGAR LAND — North Hopkins High School senior Carson Mathis has already won multiple awards following a stellar senior season, but has now added another one, recently making the TABC 2A All-State team. This adds onto his impressive list of high school basketball accolades.
Mathis, a 6’6’’ senior, played a pivotal role in the Panthers’ success this season, helping guide them to a 29-8 overall record and a fourth consecutive undefeated district championship. He also helped them reach the Regional Tournament for the second time in three years.
For his play, he was named District 15-2A MVP and also made the TABC All-Region team. Now, he adds TABC All-State team to list of accomplishments.
In addition to these awards, Mathis also reached 2,000 career points scored this season.
This is the latest achievement for Mathis, who has made a tremendous impact on the North Hopkins Panthers basketball team.
