Brad Horton, HCSO Deputies Richard Brantley, Zack Horn and Ryan Reed, along with (not pictured) 8th Judicial District Attorney Will Ramsay, ADA Jodi Cox, Victim Advocate Susan Fisher and Paralegal Christen Garcia show off the SART mural painted by Jacoby Smith on the this wall on Oak Avenue in downtown Sulphur Springs. The mural was commissioned as a tangible message to victims of sexual assault or intimate partner violence that there is a local team of professional and community partners — the Sexual Assault Response Team or SART — dedicated to helping and supporting them. Thus, the theme of the mural is 'We rise by lifting others.”

When ADA Cox approached the sheriff about having a mural to give hope and enouragement, he arranged for Hopkins County Law Enforcement Association to pay for it. Jacoby Smith was commissioned to paint it. Sherwin Williams donated all of the paint. Lowes donated brushes and ladders. Texas Trading Company has been 'so supportive of the mural,' letting their building to showcase it.

Chick-fil-A is another community partner, providing food for SART meetings.
