COMO-PICKTON—Como-Pickton High School Principal Kelly Baird will present newly offered classes for the 2020-2021 school year at the CPCISD board meeting 7 p.m. this Monday, and the CPCISD school board will also consider approving concrete for the agriculture storage shed.

The cost for the concrete is $15,456, according to the meeting agenda, and CTE Director Michael Bowen will present the item.

There are two items related to the COVID-19 outbreak. The board will consider approval for a missed school day waiver and another waiver exempting seniors for CPR requirements.

The board will consider approval for Superintendent Dr. Greg Bower to dispose of old school signs and scoreboards.

The Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC) will present their report to the board as well. According to the Department of State Health Services, SHACs “assist the districts in ensuring that local community values are reflected in health education instruction.”

In other business, the board will consider an agreement for the 2019-20 audit, hear a report on the district safety audit and consider bids for property/casualty insurance.
