Sulphur Springs and Hopkins County law enforcement activity from Friday through Monday included:

Wednesday, Nov. 1

„ Jason Moore, 45, of Marshall was arrested at 9:15 p.m. in the 500 block of League Street on a charge of online solicitation of a minor for sexual conduct, a second degree felony.

Thursday, Nov. 2

„ Lee-Roy Cecilio Luna, 36, of Sulphur Springs was arrested at his residence at 3 p.m. on a probation violation warrant on a charge of aggravated assault. Bond was set at $250,000.

Friday, Nov. 3

„ Preslie Paige Lappin, 20, of Emory was arrested at her Rains County residence at 2:07 p.m. on a probation violation warrant on a charge of manufacture or delivery of 1-4 grams of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance. Bond was set at $150,000.

„ Denisha Emani Mc-David, 29, of Tulsa was arrested during a traffic stop in the 300 block of Hillcrest Drive at 5:36 p.m. on charges of possession of less than 1 gram of a Penalty Group 2 controlled substance and possession of 2-4 grams of marijuana. Officer Francisco Castro detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle during the stop. McDavid reportedly admitted to the presence of marijuana, and a probable cause search was conducted. Additional marijuana and THC was located inside the vehicle. McDavid claimed ownership of the substances and was taken into custody. The vehicle was released to the male passenger.

„ Justin Carl Kroening, 44, of Brashear was arrested during a traffic stop on State Highway 19 south at County Road 1161 at 10:43 p.m. on a warrant for theft of property.

Saturday, Nov. 4

„ A traffic stop on East Industrial Drive resulted in Jose M. Jaime Beltran’s arrest at 7:20 p.m. on a no driver’s license charge.

Sunday, Nov. 5

Theft of a firearm was reported on Tate Street.

„ Brent Kermit Watson Jr. of Detroit, Michigan was arrested at 2:56 a.m. Nov. 5 on Interstate 30 west at mile marker 122 revealed the 50-year-old’s registration had expired in February. He was jailed on a Bowie County violation of probation warrant.

„ Police responded to a crash on Woodlawn Street at 3:43 p.m. Upon arrival, police determined a disturbance not a crash had occurred. They contacted Bryan Kieth Ramsey, who had a long cut on his chest and a smaller one across his knuckles. When asked about it, he claimed to have sustained the injury while trying to protect his sister then insisted they ask her about it. They then contacted a female sitting in a vehicle in front of the residence. Around her neck was red. The 32-year-old Sulphur Springs man was allegedto have knocked the female’s tooth out of her mouth. While she waited for her girlfriend, who’d run inside the residence, the man allegedly got on top of her in the passenger’s seat. He allegeldy choked her to the point it was hard for her to breathe and claimed she almost passed out. Her girlfriend, Ramsey’s sister, then returned and pulled him off of her and was pushed to the ground for her effort. The woman was then reportedly punched in the face, knocking a piece of tooth out. There was reportedly a struggle on the concrete, causing scratches on Ramsey. The man was taken to jail on an assault causing bodily injury.

„ Ariana Elizabeth Meyere was arrested at Walmart at 4:40 p.m. Nov. 5 for theft. The 28-year-old Saltillo woman was alleged by asset protection staff to have left all points of sale without paying for merchandise.

„ Analuisa Cajia, 42, was arrested at 1:34 a.m. Nov. 5 on North Jackson Street for no driver’s license following a traffic stop.Three passengers — 40-year-old Darwin Fernando, 21-year-old Walter Vinicio Moreno Romera and 34-year-old Hug Alcides Cisneros Hugo Urbed — were all arrested for public intoxication after failing horizontal gaze nystagmus tests.

Monday, Nov. 6

Police responded to a city ordinance violation and found Wade Clifford Howard at the location. A records check showed the 53-year-old Sulphur Springs man to have outstanding warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility, possession of drug paraphernalia and expired operator’s license. He was arrested at 9:35 a.m.Nov. 6 on Reservoir Street on all three charges.
