The second inning would be scoreless, with both teams failing to find any offensive rhythm. The third inning would be the same story, as the Lady Wildcats maintained their 1-0 lead.

The fourth inning would see the Lady Wildcats go on a tear. The scoring run started with Reese Ragan and Bayler Boatman scoring a pair of runs, bringing the score to 3-0.

Claire Thompson, Niya Yancy, and KK Montgomery would then add runs to make the score 6-0. Later on, Speed would launch a three-run home run, where Emerson Thompson and Nicole Higgins also scored, as Sulphur Springs’ lead increased to 9-0.

In the fifth inning, the Lady Wildcats closed out the game when Montgomery blasted a solo home run, clinching a 10-0 shut out win.

As a team, the Lady Wildcats batted 10 for 22 (.455) from the plate. Montgomery and Ragan led the way with two hits each, while Boatman, Goldsmith, Higgins, Speed, Claire Thompson, and Anahi Velasquez added one hit each.

Montgomery and Emerson Thompson were the leading scorers with two runs each. Boatman, Higgins, Ragan, Speed, Claire Thompson, and Yancy all scored one run each.

Speed and Goldsmith would pitch a combined no-hitter in the circle. Speed pitched the first two innings, notching five strikeouts and not allowing any hits or walks. Goldsmith would pitch the last three innings in relief, striking out four batters and allowing only three walks.
