A Sulphur Springs man and a Plano woman were arrested on State Highway 154 south on possession of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance, fraudulent use or possession identifying information, theft of property and unauthorized use of a vehicle, based on an investigation by the Hopkins County Sheriff ’s Office Investigator Dennis Findley and Deputy Brennan Murray July 18.

Several reports of vehicle burglaries and a stolen Chevrolet pickup resulted in security video from a Greenville pharmacy posted in an effort for help identifying the suspects.

Findley said a couple 'drove around conducting random vehicle burglaries. They broke car windows and stole money, credit cards and papers containing identifying information.'

Officers tracked Samuel Austin Bertram and Heather Ann Lisenby to a County Road 4710 residence, where they were reportedly staying. A search of their room turned up some of the stolen items. The Sulphur Springs man and Plano woman were arrested on the felony charges, according to arrest reports.
