COMMERCE — Texas A&M University-Commerce has announced an enhanced football game day experience ahead of the 2023 season. New features in and around Ernest Hawkins Field at Memorial Stadium include a new location for Tailgate, reserved parking, a family fun zone, and a game day club for Lion Champions Fund members.
'As we embark on what is arguably the most competitive schedule in the proud history of Lion Football, it is important that we match this elevated competition schedule with an elevated game day experience for our fans and supporters,' said Director of Athletics Jim Curry. 'These new initiatives will provide enhancements for all of Lion Faithful, including families, season ticket holders, Lion Champions Fund members and the entire university community.'
'These enhancements would not be possible without the collaborative efforts of the entire university and we are thankful for their partnership and support. Through these collective efforts, we have further cemented A&M-Commerce as the best place to enjoy elite Division I FCS football in the DFW and Northeast Texas.'
GAME TIMES
After thorough discussion with many constituents within the Lion faithful, the game times for the four football home games have been determined. All four home games will be broadcasted on ESPN+ and fans in and around the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex can tune in the Lion Sports Network on KETR 88.9 FM or online at ketr.org.
1. Aug. 31: vs. UC Davis - 7 p.m.
2. Oct. 7: vs. McNeese State (Family Weekend) - 7 p.m.
3. Oct. 21: vs. Nicholls State (Homecoming) - 3:30 p.m.
4. Nov. 11: vs. Southeastern Louisiana - 3:30 p.m.
TAILGATE
With ongoing construction at the former Tailgate spot, a new location for Tailgate has been set for the south side of Memorial Stadium. The new location of Tailgate allows for a prime spot for the Lion football team, Lion Cheer and Dance teams as well as the Pride Marching Band to walk through during the Lion Walk as well as creating an integrated tailgating location with the alumni tailgate hosted at Lakeside Pavilion.
Tailgate will open five hours prior to kickoff and close right at kickoff.

1. General Public: $225 season, $75 per game 2. Student Organizations and Greek Life: $100 season, $50 per game
LION WALK
The new-formed tradition of the Lion Walk continues this season with the Lion Football team walking through Tailgate two hours prior to kickoff. Cheer on your Lions before they enter the Hawk.
RESERVED PARKING
An additional perk for Lion season ticket holders and Lion Champions Fund members in 2023 is the ability to purchase reserved parking spots closer to the stadium. Starting this season, reserved parking is available in Lots 1-4 for either LCF members or season ticket holders only. Fans must have purchased a single game or season ticket prior to purchasing a reserved parking spot. All fans are limited to one reserved parking spot each, however Champion, Scholar, and All-American level LCF members may purchase up to two reserved parking spots.
Reserved parking in Lots 1-4 are priced as follows: 1. Season parking spot: $75 2. Per game parking spot: $25 3. RV spots per season: $500 4. RV spots per game: $250
Reserved parking spots can be purchased in advance by calling 903-4688756.
A limited number of RV parking spots are also available on a 'first come, first served' basis along the entrance of University Drive. RV parking spots do not come with electrical hookups and all RV's must come with their own power source.
FAMILY FUN ZONE
Coming this fall, Lion Athletics introduces the Family Fun Zone prior to kickoff adjacent to Tailgate, which will enhance the game day experience for Lion fans of all ages. The Family Fun Zone will include live entertainment, a variety of food vendors, a kids recreation area and so much more.
WEST SIDE CLUB
LCF members have a new way to beat the heat this fall with the addition of the West Side Club. The West Side Club is located underneath the concourse on the west side of Memorial Stadium for LCF members to lounge, enjoy complimentary game day concessions, and have private access to a cash bar and restrooms, without missing a second of Lion football action.
West Side Club will be open when gates open, with food and beverage service ending at the start of the fourth quarter. West Side Club membership is priced at $50 per game per person and is only open to LCF members. Space is limited in the West Side Club!

POST GAME FIELD USAGE
Also returning in 2023 is the opportunity for Lion fans to come down to the field 10 minutes after the conclusion of the game to enjoy on-field access and create new memories on the field with your family and friends!
