The North Hopkins Lady Panthers began their volleyball season Friday by playing host to scrimmages. Other schools that came to the scrimmages included Avery, Clarksville, Sulphur Bluff, and Trinity Christian Academy.

North Hopkins played all four teams during the day. For their first scrimmage, they played Trinity Christian. The Lady Panthers got off to a slow start early, but noticeably began to improve as the game went on.

For their next game, the Lady Panthers faced Avery. That game saw the Lady Panther play well as a team. After that, they played Sulphur Bluff. Both teams battled hard in that game.

For their final game of the day, the Lady Panthers took on Clarksville. That game saw North Hopkins play well as a team.

With these games, the Lady Panthers have gained experience that will help them succeed this upcoming season. Their first game is Tuesday, when they travel to Overton to take on the Overton Lady Mustangs.
