Watson leads with 7 digs
MILLER GROVE—The Miller Grove Lady Hornets hosted Como-Pickton Friday in a game in which they won in straight sets.
The Lady Hornets started the night off taking the first two sets, each by scores of 25-13. Como-Pickton played a tougher third set, but Miller Grove was able to take it, 25-16, to complete the three-set sweep.
Harli Watson had a standout game, finishing with a team-high seven digs while also tallying three ace serves. Jaylah Roberson also had a strong all-around game, contributing three aces, three digs and a pair of kills.
Arean Wood and Kylee Saladana also joined in on the action, finishing with three and two kills, respectively.
Setting things up for the Lady Hornets was Lauren Bullard who had six assists in the 3-0 win. Bullard also had four digs and a pair of ace serves.
The Lady Hornets have nine games remaining including four more home games.
