The Sulphur Springs eighth grade Wildcats played home games Tuesday against Marshall with mixed results. The eighth grade A team lost 28-21 in a tightly-contested battle at Gerald Prim Stadium. The Wildcats were edged out late in the game despite playing well according to coach Eddie Flores. "The whole team collectively played hard on both sides of the ball. Kids were flying around all night making plays. Our coaching staff is very proud of how our kids played," Flores said. In the B game, Sulphur Springs and Marshall battled to an 8-all tie. Jefferson Bonilla on the defensive line played well with six solo tackles and two quarterback sacks. Garrett Robinson also had a sack and notched two solo tackles.
