COMMERCE — Texas A&M University-Commerce volleyball student- athletes Millie Allgood and Reese Fetty have been named to the Academic All-District team, as selected by College Sports Communicators.

Fetty and Allgood are among 10 student-athletes from the Southland to earn academic all-district honors.

In a new rule this year, a committee of voters selects all-district honorees that advance to being considered for the All-America teams. Both Fetty and Allgood are selected as CSC All-America Finalists, advancing to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC Members.

A senior outside hitter, Fetty played in all 32 matches, while appearing in 110 of the team's 117 sets. She finished the season with 224 kills, 25 aces, 41 blocks, and 208 digs. She was top 15 in the Southland in kills and graduated early with a degree in Communication Studies.

Allgood is a sophomore libero/defensive specialist and a biological sciences major. She totaled 106 sets played, appearing in all 32 matches. She recorded 235 digs and 34 aces, which was top 10 in the Southland.

Both Fetty and Allgood are members of the A&M-Commerce Student- Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and are Dean's List recipients. They are the sixth and seventh Academic All-District honorees in program history and first since Shelley Chapron in 2019.
