Kind person turns in lost gas card

I owe a very kind, considerate person a giant thank-you!

I was out of town until sometime between 3 and 4 p.m. today. I had to stop to buy gasoline on the south edge of home/town. There was a substantial crowd. I paid with a card and headed for home on the far north side of Loop 301.

At 9:15 p.m., I discovered I didn’t have my card for gas but went anyway. I first went into the gas dealership to inquire as to whether anyone had turned in a card. The cashier sad yes, asked my name; told her and she responded yes and handed me my card.

I was so surprised and emotional along with amazement, I could barely see to drive home.

That card had been received only two or three days before due to the previous card having been lost.

I want to say a huge thank-you to the wonderful person who found it and turned it in to the station.
