Sherry Lynn Colley

A memorial service for Sherry Lynn Colley, 59, of Carrollton was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at Lake Highlands Baptist Church with Perry Johnson officiating. Visitation was held at 1p.m., one hour prior to the service.

Sherry passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, at her residence. She was born on June 8, 1964, to Bobby and Mary Sue Colley in Palestine, Texas.

Sherry worked for many years as a mortgage banker.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Sue Colley; sister, Nita Armstrong (Tommy); brother, Glenn Colley (J.L.); nephew, Alan Armstrong (Erika); niece, Brandi Weir; and great-nephews, Tristan Armstrong and A.J. Armstrong.

Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Don Colley.
