Kerri Burgin

A memorial service for Kerri Burgin, age 55, of Brashear, Texas, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2024, at Myra Wilson Chapel in City Cemetery, Sulphur Springs, Texas, with Marlin Jones, Johnny Gibson, Charlotte McKay, Fred McCoy, Richard Waldrep and Joe Mack Gober serving as honorary pallbearers. Buddy Wiggins will officiate. Mrs. Burgin passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, in Plano, Texas.

Kerri Ann Burgin was born on Aug. 20, 1968, in Saratoga Springs, NY, to William and Donna (Blanchard) West. She married the love of her life, Michael Scott Burgin, in Brashear, Texas, on Oct. 11, 2008. Kerri was a Real Estate Agent at Hometown Realty in Sulphur Springs. She dearly loved all her animals and working in her yard.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Scott Burgin of Brashear; sons, Masyn John Morey and Skyler Wheeler of Warrensburg, NY, and Morgyn Martin Paul Morey and wife Gabrielle of Brashear, Texas; granddaughter, Mickey Scott Morey; sisters, Michelle West Murphy and husband, John, and Valerie Greco and husband, David; and brothers, William West and wife, Laura, Robert West and wife Stacy.

Kerri was preceded in death by her parents, William and Donna West.

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
