Joyce Ann Case

Funeral services for Joyce Ann Case, age, 64 of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at West Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. C.J. Duffey officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2024, at West Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at North Hopkins Cemetery with Jarian Chaney, Randuhn Lawrence, Matt Covington, Jordan Chaney, Darian Chaney, Jarrell Brown serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Morales and Matt Allen. Joyce passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

She was born on Oct. 20, 1959, in Missouri to Alma and Haskell Smith. Joyce was the second of eight children. Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, sister, nana and best friend to all that knew her. She loved sharing her knowledge of craft making and her love for others. Joyce also enjoyed bowling, running, and going to garage sales. She adored spending time with her family, especially family gatherings and vacations. After the passing of her loving spouse of 49 years, Roger Case, and many family members she became everyone’s rock.

Joyce never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. She was active in numerous organizations such as but not limited to Susan G. Komen Blood Drive and Shriner’s Hospital. Joyce will be greatly missed by many and will spend eternity with our Lord and Savior.

Joyce is survived by her son, Anthony Case and wife, Robin; daughters, Crystal Hull and husband, Jesse, and Debbie Chaney and her husband, Darian; sisters, Nancy Ransom, Carol Petra, Cathy Reed, Sherry Allen, and Lisa Gillian; brother, Robert Smith; and numerous grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Smith; sister, Glory Smith; nephew, Joshua Petra; spouse, Roger Case; niece, Felicia Morlas; and her grandchild, Westen Chaney.
