Hopkins County voters participated in the July 2020 runoff election, delayed since May due to COVID-19. Below are the results for each of the races. Each will run in November as their party's candidate. A full story will be available later.
State Representative, District 2 – Republican Party
Dan Flynn – 49 votes (40.16%) in absentee, 368 votes (33.48%) in early voting, 305 votes (37.33%) on election day:

Bryan Slaton – 73 votes (59.84%) in absentee, 731 votes (66.52%) in early voting, 512 votes (62.67%) on election day:

Royce West - 104 votes (57.14%) in absentee, 79 votes (54.48%) in early voting, 79 votes (63.20%) on election day:
