Funeral services for Glenda Rae Watkins, 78, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Eason officiating and Cody Chester assisting. Interment will follow at Reilly Springs Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers and granddaughters as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2019 at West Oaks Funeral Home.
Glenda passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at her residence.
Glenda was born May 3, 1941 in Sydney, Nebraska to John George Edward Moench and Lorraine Victoria Nelson Moench. Glenda married J. R. Watkins, who survives her. Glenda was a secretary for Advantage Copy Systems, and she was of the Lutheran faith.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Lloyd Watkins and Cindy, Mark Watkins and Christi, and Daryl Watkins and Marty; daughters, Vicki Dais and Mark, and Jenny Cockrum and Terry; brothers, Marvin Moench, Wesley Moench and Doug Moench; and 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Karen Morton.
