10 YEARS AGO

The Sulphur Springs Wildcats baseball team beat Longview 7-0. Colby Suggs picked up the win throwing six innings, allowing just three hits and striking out 10 batters. Tripp Reeves led the way offensively, hitting a double and a pair of singles.

5 YEARS AGO

The Sulphur Springs Lady Cats softball team rallied late to beat Texas High 3-2 to advance to 3-0 in district play. Trailing 2-1 entering the top of the seventh, the Lady Cats scored a pair of runs to lead them to the win. Molly Johnson hit a pair of hits, an RBI and scored twice to lead the team on offense.

1 YEAR AGO

Both the Sulphur Springs Wildcats and Lady Cats soccer teams earned playoff berth after the final regular season games. The Wildcats beat Royse City 1-0 to earn them third place in their district. David Moreno scored the lone goal for Sulphur Springs.
