SSISD Superintendent Michael Lamb said, 'In 2019 the last time we had a rating before COVID it was 88. During Spring Break of 2020 I felt very strong that we were going to make enough improvement from 2019 to 2020 that we were going to get to celebrate being an “A” district. We never came back from that Spring Break and we haven’t gotten another rating until now. With the learning loss we have had the past couple of years I am very pleased to have fought back to where we were. I am now ready for us to make enough improvement that we can celebrate being an “A” rated district.'
