Shannon Road hotel gets update, joins Red Roof Inn & Suites family

The hotel located at 1521 East Shannon Road now has a new name and owner.

Valor Hospitality LLC invested more than $250,000 in renovation, which included updating guest room furniture and adding new in-room amenities to the former Trail Dust Inn property.

Conveniently located off Interstate 30, the 70-room Red Roof Inn & Suites Sulphur Springs offers guests free Wi-Fi, a continental breakfast, a seasonal outdoor pool, a business center, a guest laundry facility, free coffee in the lobby, and a microwave and refrigerator in every room.

The hotel chain boasts it's proximity within driving distance to Hopkins County Museum and Heritage Park, Northeast Texas Children's Museum, Coleman Park, Cooper Lake State Park, and Texas A&M University-Commerce. Paris Junior College-Sulphur Springs Center is just across the highway and around the corner from the recently renamed Red Roof Inn & Suites Sulphur Springs.
