Road Report
PARIS — The Paris District of the Texas Department of Transportation released the area road report for the week of Christmas.
The schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, equipment failure or other unforeseen issues.
In the Sulphur Springs area along State Highway 11 in Hopkins County lane closures and short traffic delay can be expected from State Highway 19 to White Oak Creek. Crews will be replacing an existing drainage structure. Temporary traffic signals will direct traffic.
Along FM 1448 in Franklin County from the Wood County Line to FM 115, motorists should watch for lane closures and short traffic delays as crews install drainage structures.
Motorists are advised to remain alert and pay special attention to all signs, barricades and traffic controls, and reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones, especially during holiday travel. They should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems.
