Saltillo native named to Dean’s List at ASU

SAN ANGELO — Lindsay Renee Butler, accounting major from Saltillo, has been named to the Dean’s List for the 2019 fall semester at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas.

To be eligible for the ASU Dean’s List, full-time undergraduate students must maintain at least a 3.25 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale.

Angelo State University, founded in 1928, is a four-year public school in Texas. Students conduct undergraduate research, rank above State acceptance averages for professional schools, and receive personal access to instructors and progressive facilities.

ASU is part of the Texas Tech University System with campuses across the state. Angelo State has been ranked as one of The Princeton Review’s “Best Colleges” in the nation since 2010 and is a College of Distinction. ASU was also recognized as a Top 10 Gold Award for ranking in the top 10 of the 76 institutions in the Large Public University category that were awarded the “Military Friendly School” designation for 2019-20. They have ranked as a Military Friendly by Victory Media (VIQTORY) School for 11 consecutive years.
