Red Hat Society

Red Hat Society chapter members of the Regal Foxie Fillies of Cumby recently went to the horse races at the Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie. The group, including (from left) Nancy Bolton, Betty Holden, Shirley Jo Carr and Patsy Crist, dined at the Silk Dining Room at the fourth floor at the popular race track. Small group bets were placed while the ladies enjoyed food selections of every kind. The course of the day at the races was 1-5:30 p.m. There were hundreds of Red Hatters from different groups; the variation of different red hats were very entertaining. The Regal Foxie Fillies looks forward to another visit to the horse races again next year on Red Hat Day.
