This month I passed the one-year mark here in my new home of Sulphur Springs. Of all the things that happened in 2020, my move to this wonderful little city is a definite positive in a year full of negatives for so many people. My 30-year newspaper career has taken me all over this great land of ours, and I’ve seen some beautiful cities and worked with some amazing people, but here in Sulphur Springs, I feel like I’ve found a home, and I thank all of you for welcoming me here.
My door is always open to all the citizens of our great city, both subscribers and future-subscribers. I would love to hear any ideas, opinions or suggestions you might have for helping make our local newspaper better for you. As I’m sure you are, I’m looking forward to a fantastic 2021.
