The public is invited to visit Sulphur Springs’ first Earth Day pollinator garden: the “Nectar Cafe.” The garden was planted this weekend by volunteers who support native Texas plants in our town. VR Social sponsored the planting and hopes to encourage others to plant native for our pollinators! Hopkins County is on the famous Monarch Highway and public gardens are critical to their success.

In addition to butterfly food, organic human food is also available in the garden for free! The weather is perfect for a stroll along our Healing Waters creek. Nectar Cafe is located at 317 Spring Street, on VR Social’s patio. Special thanks to earthday.org for registering this event and Dallas Farmers Market for the milkweed plants.
