The SS Ladies Golf Association recently hosted their annual golf tournament and luncheon benefitting the Hopkins County Healthcare Foundation’s “In My Closet.”

This year the LGA donated over $4,000 assigned for local families battling cancer. The Healthcare Foundation houses the “In My Closet,” a space filled with an assortment of wigs, scarves, hats, specialty lotions/creams, books, puzzles and more.

The Cross Country Cowboy Church and the Healthcare Foundation, who founded the endeavor, share the desire to help patients undergoing cancer treatments to feel better and help them find certain items in the community that may be diffcult to acquire.

This is a free service for anyone battling cancer. The closet is open by appointment only, and more information is available by calling 903-438-4799.

The SS Lady Golfers meet monthly at the Sulphur Springs Country Club and raise money for the Jan James scholarship fund benefitting a Sulphur Springs ISD female senior.

For more information, call the Country Club at 903-885-4748.
