Jettribe Texas is excited to announce they are hosting an advance screening of the new Hollywood action-comedy “Hot Water: The Movie” in Sulphur Springs in October with a special appearance by the movie’s director, Larry Rippenkroeger. Jettribe racing gear and apparel are exclusively featured in the movie.?“It’s time to fire up the fun when a cocky jet skier gets his dream shot to compete on the pro jet ski tour. Coached by a legendary champion and his fun-loving mechanic, it’s the ultimate summer road trip filled with action, romance and laughs,” the movie’s website, HotWaterMovie.com, reads.
The special screening will take place Saturday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. at the newly renovated Bright Star Cinema in Sulphur Springs. The night will include personal remarks from Rippenkroeger before the movie starts.
“I’m excited to finally be able to share ‘Hot Water’ with a live audience. There’s nothing like the level of energy and laughs a live audience can bring to an experience like this,” Rippenkroeger said.
Rippenkroeger is a four-time world champion jet ski racer who has also had a successful career as one of Hollywood’s leading stunt coordinators. He has worked on projects such as “Waterworld” and was the personal stunt double for Bruce Willis in the “Die Hard” movies. Jettribe’s friendship with Rippenkroeger goes back 20 years, and they contributed towards this project because it was such a strong passion project for the director.
