Drug take-back day next week

The Hopkins County Sheriff ’s Posse and Hopkins County Sheriff ’s Office in conjunction with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency will hold a Drug Take Back next week.

Anyone wanting to dispose of medicines that are no longer needed or out of date can deliver them to local law enforcement to be properly destroyed and keep them out of water systems and the trash. Needles and inhalers will not be accepted.

Drug Take Back will be held in the parking lot at Atwood’s, 817 Gilmer St. in Sulphur Springs, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.
