Diamond Set meeting hosts Criner duo

The 60 Plus Ministry of First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs will host its monthly Diamond Set meeting at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25.

The special program will be presented by Buck and Gloria Criner. Buck retired from Farmers Branch Fire Department as a battalion commander after 32 years of service. He began singing professionally in 2003. His music program is a mixture of pop, American standards, Country and Western, Broadway and Southern Gospel music. Gloria assists him and does some backup singing.

Buck and Gloria live in Crandall. They have two sons and six grandchildren. Singing has been a major part of Buck’s life.

There will be free blood pressure checks and information by Legacy Hospice 11-11:45 a.m., and a delicious meal will be provided at a cost of $5 per person.

Diamond Set is a monthly meeting for senior adults. Everyone is invited to come. The public is invited to enjoy a special time of good food, great music, medical information and fellowship.
