Two county schools were recipients of awards during UIL’s junior high one-act play competition. Taking second place was Cumby ISD, and taking third was Como-Pickton CISD.
Como-Pickton honorees included Dana Baxley and Camyn Courson for All Star Cast, Angelica Sasnett for honorable mention All Star Cast and Alli Dowell for technical.
Cumby honorees included Jillian Dracos for technical, Kendall Dobson and Chloe Groves for All Star Cast, Jailyn Dixon, Mallory Wheat and Holden Killian for honorable mention All Star Cast and Gaby Osornio as best performer.
