There will be a benefit for Dennis “Kojac” Lewis 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Morning Chapel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The event, “Tasting Bee/Bake Sale,” is sponsored by the laymen of Morning Chapel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Beans and cornbread, beef stew, chicken stew, jambalaya, red beans and cornbread, goulash and other items will be served on an all-you-can-eat basis for a donation. A variety of sweets will also be for sale. All proceeds will go toward medical and any other expenses of Lewis’.
