The Hopkins County Genealogical Society is starting a new program called “Lunch & Learn.” HCGS meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise notified. The first meeting will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22. The topic will be “Hidden Gems on the HCGS Website.” Attendees are asked to bring a sack lunch, salad or drive-through meal. Tea and coffee will be provided. Water and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
