Black Oak Baptist Church services

Black Oak Baptist Church services will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 9. Earhart family reunion will be held at the same time. Rev. B.J. Teer will be preaching. Black Oak Baptist Church band will be performing during church service. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring favorite dishes and cold drinks. Also, please bring family history information and pictures, as a program will be held after lunch. The reunion will be dedicated to Godfrey and Mary Polly Ann Earhart who came to Black Oak, Texas in 1856 in a covered wagon. Godfrey served as deacon and treasurer of the church. Earhart family members have worshiped at Black Oak Baptist Church since 1856.
