Mi Vida Loca

When I was a kid, I wasn't the brightest. One time I was waiting for my big brother Josue to get out of the bathroom. I was patiently waiting at the door, and I started looking around on the floor. For some reason, a circular pill caught my attention. I leaned over and held it in my hand. I was inspecting it to pass the time while Josue was still in the bathroom. I decided to put the pill up my nose. I was like seven or eight, maybe younger? I slowly started putting it up my nose as a joke, but when I stopped pushing it and was ready to take it out, it didn't go according to plan.

The pill got stuck in my nose. I started panicking and held in my tears, trying to push the pill out. I heard a door open; I looked over and it was Josue. He saw me trying to push something out of my nose, and he made me show him. He was confused as to why I would put a pill in my nose but I didn't know. He told my mom and dad; they weren't too happy about what I had done. They took me to the hospital, but my mom and dad got it out before I saw a doctor.

I have also almost drowned three times in my life. One of the times was when I was with my friend, Hunter. My two brothers and I, and one of my brother’s friends went to swim at Hunter’s Memaw's house. Hunter pulled up, too, and joined us in his Memaw's in-ground pool.

I was having a blast until Hunter grabbed me by the neck and pulled me down in the water; he wouldn't let me go back up and catch my breath, so I started panicking, and for some reason, my brain just clicked on what I should do. I opened my eyes, looked straight at him under the water, and gave him a purple nurple. In pain, he let me go, so I got out of the pool as fast as I could and just stood there with tears in my eyes, coughing. We eventually made a truce that he wouldn't try to drown me anymore, and the rest of the day was great. Memaw ordered Domino’s pizza and we all ate.

I had some cousins who lived right next door to me. The sisters and I were good friends. They always bullied their brother, who was seven years older than me. He was also the oldest out of his three sisters and one brother. He wasn't fat, but he was chubby and tall.

They had a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe Car. One day me and his siblings were walking around until the older brother decided he was going to force himself in that little car and he did, but he got stuck. His sisters decided that they were going to push the car in a hole that had a pretty deep puddle. It had rained heavily overnight. I was shocked while he was screaming for help. His three sisters were pushing him closer to the puddle. I didn't help him because I was too busy laughing really hard. And, I didn’t think they were actually going to do it. He was begging his sisters not to do it because he was stuck, but they didn't care.

They put him next to the puddle and flipped him over: Splash! He was soaking wet when he finally got out of the car. My cousins must have been pretty strong to flip him over. He went to their mom and told on them, but she seemed not to care because his sisters were so little. I have a lot of fun memories with my cousins.
