Wildcats lose 34-27 at Lucas Lovejoy

LUCAS - The hometown Leopards score two late touchdowns to pull away Friday claiming a 34-27 win over Sulphur Springs.

The loss dropped the Wildcats to 0-2 for the year. Lovejoy is now 1-1.

Mistakes and penalties again hampered the Wildcat attack. In the first half the flagged six times and had one turnover.

For the game, Wildcats quarterback Kaden Wallace threw touchdown passes to Kylan Wade and Dietrich Clayton.

Caden Davis also scored and Brandon Zavala booted two field goals.

The wildcats play at Terrell on Friday September 13.
