The first inning would be scoreless, as both defenses played well. That would also be the case in the second inning, which also ended in a scoreless tie.

The Panthers would break the scoreless tie in the top of the third inning with a pair of runs, taking a 2-0 lead. The Trojans would answer back with three runs in the bottom of the third inning. Jaxon Hudson, Lane McCraw, and Chayton Vaughan all scored, as the Trojans pulled ahead 3-2.

In the fourth inning, the Panthers would add five runs, pulling ahead 7-3. They would then add four more runs in the fifth inning, increasing their lead to 11-3.

The Panthers would score three more runs in the top of the sixth inning, extending their lead to 143. After the Trojans were held scoreless in the bottom of the sixth inning, the game ended, as the Panthers handed the Trojans a 14-3 loss.

As a team, the Trojans batted just 4 for 20 (.200) from the plate. Jace Evans led with two hits, while McCraw and Vaughan added one hit each. Hudson, McCraw, and Vaughan all scored one run each.
