Deadline to decline July 16

Sulphur Springs ISD superintendent’s office sent a press release last week, giving an update on season tickets for the upcoming football season. The purchase of 2021 season tickets were sent earlier in the week to all 2019 season tickets holders with an email address on file. Those with no email address on file were sent a letter in the mail, according to the release.

“If you have not seen the email, please check your spam or junk mail folders. The email was sent from ‘wcatseasontix@ssisd. net.’” the release stated. “If you cannot locate the email, please contact Marci Owens at 903-885-0961.”

The release states that “If ticket holders wish to decline their seat, they should notify such via email or by phone” at the given email address and phone number above.

“If ticket holders wish to attempt to make changes/additions to their seats, they should notify via the email or phone number above. They will receive email (or letter) prior to Aug. 4 for an in-person opportuni ty to make these changes,” the release read. “If ticket holders wish to purchase the same seats they held in 2019 with no changes, they should clink the link in the instruction letter sent via email or listed in the letter via U.S. mail. If there are any questions re: purchasing, please contact Mike Meador at 903-885-2158, X 2274 or Marci Owens at 903-885-0961.”

The deadline to decline tickets, request to make changes, or to purchase tickets is Friday, July 16. If there are any season tickets remaining, the public will be made aware after Aug. 4.

Sulphur Springs opens their season at home against Frisco Wakeland Friday, Aug. 27. Their next home game won’t be until Friday, Sept. 17 against Crandall. That game is both their district opener and their homecoming game.

The Wildcats return home again Friday, Oct. 8 to host Royse City. Finally Sulphur Springs has back-to-back home games Friday, Oct. 22 and Friday, Oct. 29. In those games they host Greenville and Forney respectively. Their game against Forney is also set to be their Senior Night game.

All home games are scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
