Morgan leads in 3 categories
ALBA-GOLDEN - The Cumby Lady Trojans traveled to Alba-Golden Friday to face the Lady Panthers on their Homecoming night. Cumby entered the night undefeated in district play and were looking to keep their winning ways going.
Cumby set the tone immediately, winning the opening set by a final score of 25-14. They took their game up another notch in the second set where they won 25-8. In the third and final set things were much closer, but the Lady Trojans still held on to the 25-22 win.
Erin Morgan had a strong game, leading the team in kills (11), digs (9) and assists (24). The next leading offensive players were Neely Hammond with eight kills and nine digs and Ashlyn Hudson who had seven kills, six blocks and a pair of assists.
Azlyn Hornsby had a strong showing as well with five kills and four blocks, while Heather McCraw had four assist blocks and three solo blocks.
